Luka Stojnic
Born on the 3rd of March 1970 in Pula, Croatia. In 1993 receives a Master degree in painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, Italy (Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia). The theme of his degree examination is «Fluxus, for an intelligent painting».
From 2011 lives in Essen (Belgium) and works between Essen (Belgium) and Poreč (Croatia).
‘To me abstract art is just an enlargement or a lessening of what we usually call figurative or realistic image that can still offer a further development in the study and in the comprehension of one of the fractions of the real world, which neither realistic nor figurative.’
